So, this here is my ghetto attempt on trying to get a page up with a video (hopefully it works)
http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=4013888167661190150I hope you enjoyed the video.
Would you believe me if I told you that it probably took me gazillion retakes to do that? (I might be exaggerating a bit…) Hopefully, with more practise I’ll get comfortable and NOT sound like a boring robot.
So please no mud slinging
I decided that it’d be best to send you a direct link to the online step-up training report in your e-mail. This way I can be sure that only exclusive members get access to it.
Now, if you don’t mind, could you “try” posting some comments below? I want to be sure that this thing works right.
Oh and while you’re at it, let me know what you thought about this video.
Okay, I’m done for now.
Look out for my e-mail tomorrow

Thank You Tony,
I have a Male Pacific Parrotlet. This particular species, as you prob. know, are very nippy. He is tame and I have been using the “up command” since day one. (He is 6mths now). When this green monster wants his way, he WILL nip. I scold NO!!! looking him straight in the eye and holding my finger up in his face. Then he will softly kiss my finger as if to say “I’m sorry”.
I look forward to some great tips from you.
Sheryl
Thank you so much for the tips,am very happy as i cannot afford any expenses.
You are great, would like to know what wings to clip to stop him from flying away,
I love him so much even though I have him for a few months only. How long will it take to tame my Boboule ( my ringneck),he is about 18 to 2 years old.Is he too old to tame?I wish he could rest on my and or my shoulder.
I have fait in you.Thank you for all the great tips.God bless you.Denise from England -London
Very interesting listening. Can understand what you are teaching is true. My Green Cheek (who I have had for a week) presents with the behaviours you describe. Also, he has picked me as a member of his flock – but won’t let my teenage kids handle him without biting. They of course find this very frustrating! Keep the good info coming! Thanks, Olivia from Townsville, Australia.
No PDF link appeared at the end. Can you please send it to my e-mail?

my cockatiel runs from my finger when i try 2 teach step up
No PDF appeared….Falco does the step up….and talks….I have problems getting him to bed at night…he pushes my hand away with his forehead and if I go back with the step up command he puffs up, rubs his beak on the perch and talks like there’s no tomorrow. I just pretend to be messing in his cage and he runs down the cage and back into it and I close the door and cover him…he talks for awhile afterwards cause he’s mad, but eventually calms down. Thanks for the “video” though…wish the PDF had appeared.
I did enjoy that little clip I’ve always thought that every bird in the flock was equal I thought only pack animals such as dogs had a leader I don’t have to many problems with birds that bite me I do have a Cockatoo that bites kids but I think thats more out of fear because kids move quickly and unpredictably I am gettin a new IRN and I’ve heard they are very different from other birds and need to be handled allot to keep them tame I have 6 birds at the moment all rescues that have been badley abused in their former homes. I have had my Fiery shouldered Conure the longest Ive had her for 7 years she is now 10yrs old she was a total mess when I got her but has turned into the sweetest bird. My Yellow Crowned Amazon hates men to this day and will not allow oe to come to close without biting them she swears like a sailor at them. which she also did not learn from me but thats the only time she swears and there aren’t allot of men comeing around my house so its all good I’ve had her for 6yrs she is very much my velcro bird and when I have to go to work she says its not fair its just not fair LOL Tyco CAG is my newesy rescue and had it very bad in her past being passed from home to home to home. I’m haveing trouble making her understand that she is here to stay and is not going anywhere she doesn’t bite and will step up onto a perch from her cage and onto my arm anytime she’s away from her cage but she will not allow me to touch her any where I’m sure she’s just waiting to go to her next home. and does not want to get close for fear of it hurting her feeling so bad to lose her family again. I don’t know how to make her understand that she is here to stay and that she isn’t going anywhere.

Hi, well I am here as I have 6 birds which 4 of whom I hand reared, Poppet (Conure) well he loves to bite, and especially the ears and under the chin, Dusty (African Grey) she, well I don’t really trust her, even though I do have her on my shoulder every evening for a tad, but I still am very weary, she will just suddenly turn and bite, Shunshine (Cockatiel) well she is just to precious, I have not problem with her, besides her biting my earings which, i am trying to get her to stop, she is very spoilt and loves her mummy. The others, well they are not tame, so they can not come out of cages. I am inheriting another Induian ringneck (yellow at the end of the year, Yay, and then there are 2 Senegal babies, with broken legs, (which is in a cast at the moment) which hopefully i will also be getting YAY.

What happened to the link at the end of the video that you mentioned???
Very interesting indeed.
My ringneck is now 1 year old, talks like there is no tomorrow, but refuses any human contact and bites. I handreared Gondoloo, that is his name, take it he is a “he”, so the aversion to contact seems strange to me.
Hi
Thank you for the video, the training is going well.
I have a wonderfull and verry spoild 4month old sun conure caled Nicky and I am afraid that it might be to attatched to me so I whant to know if i sould get a mate to keep him comany, (sould i get a baby and risk jelousy or sould i get a fully grown one (femaile) and risk neather one exepring each other and they both start plucking because of stress)
Your video was simply but entertaining. I would like to learn more fun things to do with my bird besides step ups to have fun. Do you have any reccomendations? Also would like the step up routine to stop bitting.

Levi (the not so shy one) is 6 years old. i am trying to get him to step up but he’ll just bite the perch. so then i blow him in the face. he will eat out of my hand too. he just won’t go on my hand to get it. any help. thanks
I have a male parrotlette which I’ve had for 2.5 years. He was hand tamed when I bought him as a baby and has always been very loving. For about the last 4 to 6 weeks he has days when he attacks and even putting my finger up to let him out of the cage – he bit me and drew blood. I am beside myself with frustation and nearly ready to trade him for a parakeet. Anyone know why after almost 3 years my bird has turned into a monster???!!!!
Hi there,
Enjoyed the video – quite amusing at times. I am looking forward to receiving the .pdf of the step-up / no biting techniques. We have a 6 month old green-cheeked conure – he is a feisty one, but loves to cuddle also. We need training so we can do our best for ‘Taco.’
Thanks.
Fiona
